The First Time Marchers Camp is for current 8th graders or anyone marching with Lafayette for the first time. Monday, April 4 – Thursday, April 7, 2016 Wear tennis shoes and socks – you will be marching outside. |

Order Memory Books and Band DVDs |

Pre-order your 2015-16 “Vive la France!” Memory Book and DVD now by downloading this form. The Memory Book is designed by band parent and photographer Michelle Dunlap and includes 60 color pages for $20. The DVD is produced by Box 5 and is $40. Order forms and payment must be received by Karen Akel no later than April 30. Watch e-News for distribution dates and times. Consent Form for UK Windfest |

Students that are in Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band need to return the attached consent form to Mr. Smith or Mr. Bishop by Wednesday, April 6th. We must have this form returned in order to attend the UK Windfest on Saturday, April 9th. |

The Lafayette Band received a donation of $1098.11 from Kroger for 95 registered households who shopped at Kroger. |
THE 2016 SPRING RAFFLE FOR A $10,000 CASH PRIZE BEGINS THIS WEEK!
Raffle chances will be distributed to students this week. All Lafayette Band Families are asked to sell 25 tickets to make this a successful fundraiser. |
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT BINGO ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAY.
Each family is asked to volunteer 12 times per year to maintain this fundraiser. The first week of the month is a busy and profitable week of Bingo. |

Tickets are sold for $10 each. The drawing for the $10,000 cash prize will take place at the Spring Concert on May 19. |

Audition Music Available |

Auditions for the 2016-2017 Lafayette Band are scheduled for April 26 – April 28 in the Lafayette music suite. All students (new and current) must audition for placement in one of three concert bands and for part selection in the marching band. Woodwinds: Tuesday, April 26 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm Check www.lafayetteband.org for audition music. |

An invitation for nominations from the floor was extended and no new nominees were submitted. The election will be held at the April 11 LBA Parent Meeting. The Lafayette Band Discount Card is the band’s most profitable and easy to sell fundraiser. We need a few parent volunteers to help contact current and new discount card businesses for the 2016-17 card.
