FOOD CREW VOLUNTEER SERVERS NEEDED FOR WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday the food crew will need help serving pizza to percussion at 5:30 (meet at Singletary Center President Room at 5:15) and servers for cake and punch at 6:30 before the Concert.  Please email me @ rfeese@cepeds.com if available.

 

CHAPERONE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR BAND CAMP

The Chaperone Crew is recruiting volunteers to work Band Camp shifts this summer. We are especially looking for volunteers with first aid experience. If you are interested in volunteering contact Mike Booth mikeboothgm@gmail.com. Training will be provided prior to the start of band camp so no prior experience is required.

Band Camp weeks include:

Freshmen, Percussion, Color Guard Camp – July 20th – 24th, 2015

Full Band Camp Week 1 – July 27th – 31st, 2015

Full Band Camp Week 2 – August 3rd – 7th, 2015

Parking Note: The Student Center Parking lot is scheduled to close due to Student Center renovations. You may need to park behind Memorial Coliseum or behind the Alumni House off Rose Street.

v  Percussion dinner provided, all others dinner will be on your own before arriving

v  Percussion will help load the truck at 4pm on Monday & bring percussion equipment back to the band room after the concert.

v  Tuba’s either take their own instrument or are present to help load the truck.

v  Remember- Black shoes & black socks (up to the calf)

v  Remind parents that there will be a reception in the foyer of the Singletary Center beginning at 6:30pm

v  Concert will last 90 minutes to 2 hours

v  Transportation is not provided

IMPORTANT MEDICAL FORM INFORMATION

DOWNLOAD LBA MEDICAL FORM

1. Turn in page one of the medical form NOW so we have your child’s information in the LBA medical form database.

2. The second (OTC Medications) page MUST BE SIGNED BY A PHYSICIAN in order to be valid. Even though you choose which OTC medications can be given to your child.

3. Make a summer physical appointment now since many physician appointment calendars fill up fast during the summer. While at the physical have the physician fill out the KHSAA Physical Form AND have the physician sign the second page of the medical form.

Also, if you’re your child has had a physical within the last year your physician may sign the KHSAA Physical Form and the Medical From without a visit.
