e-News Update – Parent Performance Cookout and Picture Day

Parent Performance Cookout Information

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and join Lafayette parents, families and alumni for a wonderful “End of Camp” cookout before the Parent Performance.  Thank you to Columbia Steak Express for their generous support and sponsorship.  The dinner will be served at the stadium and you can “tailgate.”

Band Students eat free beginning at 5:00pm
All others eat from 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Cost is $7 per person
Event will be held rain or shine.

The Silent Auction items and Band Store will be at the stadium.  In addition, there will be tables set-up where you can pick up additional Discount Cards or turn in money, 2015-2016 season Memory Books and DVDs, place a Spotlight Ad for the Invitational Program, and order red bags from the uniform crew.

Picture Day on August 6

Triple Play Productions will be photographing students and sections on Saturday, August 6^th.  Students should wear white shorts, band camp shirts, white socks and marching shoes to school.  Students will dress into their uniforms for pictures.  Students will NOT wear hats for pictures, so hair should be picture-ready upon arrival. 

Wind Symphony – all students must report by 9:45 for the group picture (or earlier for your section).  You will wear concert uniforms for this photograph.  Sectional and individual pictures in marching uniform will occur before/after the Wind Symphony picture.

Below are times each section should report to the band room:

8:15  Drum majors
8:30  Baritones
8:45  Mellophones
9:00  Trumpets
9:15  Percussion
9:45 Wind Symphony (in concert uniform)
10:00  Clarinets
10:30  Sousaphones
10:45  Saxophones
11:00  Trombones
11:15  Flutes
11:30  Color guard

More information to follow about opportunities to view pictures and order online.  Payment (cash, check or credit card) will be due when orders are placed.  Photos will be shipped directly to your home within 3 or 4 weeks.
