Group Ticket Order for DCI Finals |

We anticipate many current and former Lafayette Band Students marching in Drum Corp International (DCI) Finals on Saturday, August 13 in Indianapolis. A group ticket order for those interested in participating will be placed on Friday, May 6. · Tickets are $31 each. (This same ticket will cost around $90 if purchased through Ticketmaster.) · We are expecting to sit in sections 143-144 which is the same as last year. · Everyone is responsible for their own transportation. · Extra tickets will not be ordered. Tickets will be ordered for money that is received. If you are interested in ordering tickets send your check to the address below and made payable to: Include your name, address, and phone number so I know who is ordering the tickets. This is not a LBA sponsored event. |

PTSA Fundraiser for the Courtyard |

Lafayette PTSA is working to spruce up the courtyard, located outside of Lafayette Café. We are asking for your help with this project. Currently the courtyard has 3, dilapidated picnic tables. It is rarely used and rather uninviting. PTSA wishes to purchase several new industrial, metal picnic tables that will not only improve the look, but the function of the courtyard as well. Once the tables are installed, the area will lend itself as an outdoor classroom/study area as well as an outdoor dining area. We are also hoping to raise enough funds to donate $500 to the art department so that supplies may be purchased for student generated art projects to display around the courtyard. Lafayette PTSA has not held a fundraiser for several years. Instead, operating on a tight budget, with income generated from membership fees and selling vinyl decals. We have set up a GoFundMe page to generate funds for this project and we hope that your family will make a donation. Any amount is greatly appreciated! Amazingly those $1, $5, $20 donations quickly add up to make for a sizable gift. Please check out our GoFundMe page and consider making a donation today! Asbury University Brass Music Camp |

One of our annual sponsors, Asbury University, is hosting a unique Brass Music Camp for high school students June 13-17. The residential camp features private lessons, master classes and participation in a brass choir/performance led by Mark Ridenour (a principal trumpet with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra), Hiram Diaz (one of America’s most talented young soloists) and other Asbury Music Department faculty and students.
