Mini-Camp during Fall Break

 

All students are expected to attend the mini-camp during Fall Break this week.

·         Wednesday, October 5 from 3:45pm – 8:30pm

·         Thursday, October 6 from 9:00am – 5:00pm

·         Friday, October 7 from 9:00am – 5:00pm

W. Dale Warren and Andy Toth will be here and meals will be provided on these days.

 

Meals During Mini-Camp

 

Cookies – The Lafayette Band loves cookies and we serve approximately 37 dozen cookies for each meal.  If you are able to donate cookies for mini-camp, please drop-off in the student parking lot on Thursday or Friday morning. 

Dinner on Wednesday – Dinner on Wednesday evening will be provided by Wong Wong.  We will be serving veggie spring rolls, veggie fried rice, chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, and General Tso chicken.

Lunch on Thursday – Lunch on Thursday will be grilled hot dogs, pasta salad, carrots/dip, apples, chips, and cookies.

Lunch on Friday – Lunch on Friday will be grilled ham/cheese or grilled cheese sandwiches, chips, veggies, fruit, and cookies.

Cars on the Band Field

 

Thank you for your awareness and concern for the students on the Band Field and for not driving on the field during practice hours.  The safety of our students and staff is a top priority.  However, please be aware that custodians and other school staff may need to drive on the field due to their work schedules.  Please allow them to access the parking lot.  Thank you! 

 

Cheese, Sausage and Candles Fundraiser

 

  • Product Delivery Date is Thursday, Oct 6th after mini-camp
  • All students must pick up their orders on Thursday.  Please make sure you pick up your entire order – cheese and sausage is packed separately from candles.
  • Please deliver products (and collect money) as soon as possible to your customer.  Remember all Cheese and Sausage products must be refrigerated until they are delivered.
  • Checks should be made payable to “LBA”.  Money collection will begin Monday, October 10th.
  • If you get a report of spoiled or damaged merchandise, offer to exchange or refund their money.  Report this immediately to Liz Booth 859-559-2650 or Carole Howell 859-420-7845.
  • Volunteers are needed starting at 2:00 on Thursday, October 6th to help unpack, sort, check and distribute orders.  The more people we have helping the quicker distribution will go for all. 
  • If you are able to help please contact Liz Booth or Carole Howell.  We will meet in the cafeteria.  Thank you!

 “In Lieu Of” Payment Option of $50.00 is still an option and will be collected through October.
